Techcity to join Akamai’s event for special partners and customersin the U.S.

Techcity Co., Ltd (Techcity) is one of the only Vietnamese partner invited toAkamai Technologies (Akamai) – the cloud company that powers and protects life online–Innovation Tour event, with participation of 80 partners and the customers. The event will showcase solutions, new products, and strategic plantfrom June 13-16, Cambridge(Massachusetts, USA).

During the event, the world’s largest partners and customers will directly meet the CEO and senior staff of Akamai to exchange and learn more about their development strategies and products that are being developed and will be launched in the near future. Akamai also offers leading solutions in cybersecurity. Their security services are evaluated as effective, quickly deployed, and not intrusive to the current system; furthermore, an intelligent warning feature is also provided to save operation and management expenses.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung – CEO of Techticy also said informed that he will directly ask the CEO of Akamai for coordination in deploying Secure Internet Access solution in Vietnam to contribute to Internet users’ protection on mobile devices. According to statistics, in the first quarter of 2023, the Department of Information Security (Ministry of Information and Communications) detected more than 3,200 fraudulent websites for Vietnamese users. Scammers used many sophisticated deceptive methods to illegally collect personal information or impersonated financial institutions and banks to fraudulently steal assets. With Akamai’s Secure Internet Access solution, when users visit fraudulent sites, they will receive a warning, and their access will be blocked. Hence, users are fully protected in network environments. The Secure Internet Access solution has been deployed in many developed countries around the world, namely the U.S., Finland, Singapore, Switzerland, Korea, etc., and brought about positive results.
